The Pipe Line Contractors Association (PLCA) Scholarship Foundation, a private foundation established by the PLCA, has established the C. Paul Evans Scholarship Program to assist children, stepchildren, or grandchildren of full-time employees of Regular or Associate Members of the PLCA. Renewable scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited four-year college or university or graduate school of the student’s choice.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Continued affiliation and dependency with a member of the PLCA is not required for continuation of the scholarship.
Awards are for undergraduate and graduate study.
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of educational and career goals and objectives, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an online recommendation.
