The Pohlad Family Foundation, Scholarship America, and Minneapolis Community and Technical College (MCTC) have partnered to provide emergency financial assistance to students who are currently enrolled at MCTC and receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits.
The program is administered by Scholarship America. Scholarship America is the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship and tuition reimbursement programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability or national origin.

Applicants may be eligible for assistance of up to $750 per student, per calendar year, based on funds available. Students may submit multiple requests for assistance until they reach the $750 cap.
Upon approval of the applicant’s request, payment of grants will be made available within one business day through MCTC’s business office.
Applicants will be notified as to the status of their submitted application within one business day by Scholarship America.
Recipients have no obligation to Pohlad Family Foundation, Scholarship America or MCTC.
