Price Chopper/Market 32 and Northeast Shared Services have established a scholarship program to assist teammates and dependent children who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants to the Price Chopper/Market 32 Teammate and NSS Employee Scholarships must:

*A dependent child is defined as a biological, step- or legally adopted child living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee
AND
The authorized distribution for new awards is $70,000.
Teammate AdvantEdge Scholarships – Up to 13 awards of $2,000 each will be granted. Recipients must be active teammates.
Diversity AdvantEdge Scholarships – Up to 12 awards of $2,000 each will be granted. Recipients must be active teammates and self-identify as a person of color, member of the LGBTQ community, a veteran, or neurodivergent.
Northeast Shared Services (NSS) Employee Scholarship – Up to 10 awards of $2.000 each will be granted.
Awards are not renewable; however, students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Awards are for undergraduate or graduate study.
All applicants will be notified in July.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Price Chopper/Market 32. Payment is made in August.

Financial need is not considered. Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Price Chopper/ Market 32 play a part in the selection. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.
