Portable Sanitation Association International has established a scholarship program to assist PSAI Member employees, their children, or their spouses who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants to the PSAI Scholarship Program must be:
U.S. Students
Applicants must be high school seniors or undergraduates who plan to enroll or are currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school. Students working full-time at a PSAI member company and attending school part-time (minimum of 6 credits per semester) are eligible to apply.
International Students
Applicants must be students in the final year of secondary school or secondary school graduates who plan to enroll or students who are already enrolled in full-time university level studies, for the entire upcoming year.
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:
Consideration will be given to students attending a two-year or vocational-technical school.
Financial need is not considered.
Selection of recipients is made solely by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer, employee, or member of the Portable Sanitation Association International or Ewald Consulting play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Portable Sanitation Association International. Payment is made in early August to U.S. students. International students will receive a wire in September upon receipt of proof of enrollment.
Individual award amounts will vary based on the type of postsecondary education the student is pursuing:
Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
