You have been selected by a student to provide a recommendation on their behalf to support a scholarship application.  To complete the recommendation, click on the link provided in the email and follow the instructions on-screen.

Follow the link found in your email notification and then click on “I’m a recommender” under “First time here”. The recommender can then either enter their email and click “Confirm Account” to send a password reset email to themselves, or click “Access my account” to sign in with their username (which is always their email) and their password. The email you enter must match the email the student has provided.

No, the student will not see your responses.

The recommender is typically an adult (not related to the student) who knows them well. Examples include but not limited to teachers, counselors, coaches, or other community leaders.

Most recommendations have a brief comments section. You can copy and paste a short paragraph into this section. A recommendation letter does not take the place of completing the short recommendation page.

Most recommendations do not require any uploads and can be completed in a few minutes. There are some customized recommendations that may ask the recommender to upload a document such as a transcript or a letter. This is not a common requirement, but if that is the case, follow the instructions on-screen.

Check to see if the recommendation deadline has passed. If that is the case you can no longer submit the recommendation. It is also possible the student has changed the recommender assignment to a different person.

The system automatically times you out if you do not click "Save" at least once every 30 minutes. As a security feature, the computer will automatically delete the information if it thinks that there has been no activity within 30 minutes. Most recommendations will only take a few minutes to complete.

The ‘Review’ section of the progress bar must be GREEN before you will see the“Lock & Submit” button.
