Renu Contracting & Restoration, Inc. has established a scholarship program to assist children of employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability, or national origin.
Eligibility
Applicants to The ONE Scholarship Fund must meet all of the following criteria:
Children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews of Renu Contracting & Restoration, Inc. executives are ineligible.
Award
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $5,000 award. Up to two (2) awards will be granted.
Awards are one time only and past recipients may not reapply.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
The recipient’s relative must be employed full-time at Renu Contracting & Restoration, Inc. at the time of award disbursement.
Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, statement of goals and aspirations, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an outside appraisal.
Financial need is not considered.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.
In no instance does any officer or employee of Renu Contracting & Restoration, Inc. play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Notification
All applicants will be notified in April.
Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Renu Contracting & Restoration, Inc. Payment is made in August.
