Award Amounts

The authorized distribution for new awards is $25,000. Up to five (5) awards of $5,000 each will be granted.

Awards are one-time only. Past recipients may not reapply.

Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Selection of Recipients

Scholarship recipients are selected based upon their response to the following essay question:

“In around 500 words, tell us about the overall financial course you have completed and describe how you will be able to utilize it in your personal life. Which module was most interesting to you and why? Describe how this course will help you achieve your long-term financial goals?”

Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of RISE Credit play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

Applicants will be notified by late May. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. If not selected as a recipient, students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of RISE Credit. Payments will be in early August and December.
