On January 2, 1991, Sargent & Lundy, established a Centennial Scholarship Program (CSP). This program was created to recognize the accomplishments of our employees’ children, encouraging them to further their education and assisting them in financing their education.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Award Amounts
Up to thirty (30) awards of $4,000 and five (5) awards of $2,000 will be granted for the upcoming academic year. Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Awards are for undergraduate study only. Scholarships may be used for any course of study; however, preference will be given to students enrolled in engineering or science programs.
All information received is considered confidential and is reviewed only by Scholarship America.
Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Sargent & Lundy play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Notification
Applicants will be notified in early May. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Sargent & Lundy. Payment is made in one installment in early August. Checks are mailed to each recipient’s home address and are made payable to the school for the student to present.
Obligations
Recipients have no obligation to Sargent & Lundy. They are, however, required to notify Scholarship America of any changes in address, school enrollment, or other relevant information, and to send a complete official transcript when requested.
Revisions
Sargent & Lundy reserves the right to review the conditions and procedures of this scholarship program and to make changes at any time including termination of the program.

NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.
