Tyler Schilling has established the Robot Appreciation Society Scholarship Program to assist TechnipFMC Schilling Robotics employees’ children who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs. Renewable scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice.
This program is only offered to TechnipFMC Schilling Robotics employees’ children and selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does Tyler Schilling or any officer or employee of TechnipFMC Schilling Robotics play a part in the selection, nor is the program supported and connected in any way to TechnipFMC.
This scholarship program is administered by Scholarship America® is the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability or national origin.

Awards
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award ranging from $3,000 to $10,000 U.S. currency. Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Renewal is contingent upon satisfactory academic performance in a full-time course of study, continued employment of the student’s parent at TechnipFMC, and continuation of the program by Tyler Schilling. Award may be used for Tuition, Books and Fees.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Notification
Applicants will be notified in April. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes Robot Appreciation Society scholarship payments on behalf of Tyler Schilling. Payments are made in equal installments in mid-August and mid-December.
Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, statement of goals and aspirations, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an outside appraisal. Applications from college-bound students and vocational-technical school students are evaluated in two separate groups. Award amounts are determined based on school costs.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does Tyler Schilling or any officer or employee of TechnipFMC Schilling Robotics play a part in the selection, nor is the program supported and connected in any way to TechnipFMC.
