SC Johnson, through its corporate foundation SC Johnson Giving, Inc., has established a scholarship program to assist children of employees who plan to continue their education in college, vocational school or other approved skill development programs.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.

Award Amounts
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award ranging from $1,000 to $5,000.
Scholarships to sons and daughters of company officers are limited to one-time honorariums in the amount of $1,000.
For programs up to four years in length, awards are renewable up to three years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Students who are in a five-year program as verified by the school, may renew up to four times. Renewal is contingent upon satisfactory academic performance in a full-time course of study.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of past academic performance and future potential, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, career and educational aspirations and goals, unusual personal or family circumstances, and two online recommendations.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of SC Johnson play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Notification
