Sharp Scholarship Program
Deadline to apply: February 6, 2025 3:00 pm CT

We live in a time of change. Changing technologies, political landscapes, and human conditions can be threatening . . . or challenging. Now more than ever, education is a prerequisite to meeting the challenges of a changing world. The Sharp Scholarship Program is designed to encourage and enable the children of our employees to meet those demands by reaching their highest personal and educational potential. Eligible high school students are encouraged to apply for funds through this exclusive program. In the 21st Century, a changing world challenges us to grow . . . to achieve . . . to use the tools higher education provides.

This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

A college education is the cornerstone of not only an individual’s development, but the advancement and continued development of our society.

At Sharp Electronics Corporation, we recognize that it takes a combination of both hard work and educational funding for most students to achieve their higher education goals. That is why I am proud to introduce the 2025– 2026 Sharp Scholarship Program. Through this program, I feel gratified that we can help make higher education possible for the dependent children of our employees, thereby helping them achieve their goals.

I encourage all eligible parties to apply for the scholarship and take advantage of this opportunity to succeed.

Best,

Susan Osgood

Vice President Corporate Human Resources
