SKECHERS Foundation has established a scholarship program to assist high school seniors who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team. Awards for this scholarship are granted to eligible recipients without regard to creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, disability, or national origin.

Applicants will be notified in June. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of SKECHERS Foundation. Payments are made in one installment on August 1.
Financial data will be collected and reviewed for one of the scholarship award categories.
Scholarship America will select finalists and SKECHERS Foundation will select recipients from the group of finalists.

SKECHERS Financial Hardship Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to a student with great need for financial assistance. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to an outstanding student with a strong interest in and desire to continue their education in any field of their choosing. The scholarship can help cover the cost of room and board, tuition, books and incidental fees.
SKECHERS Academic Excellence Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to academically outstanding students who plan to attend a two- or four-year college, university, or vocational/trade school. This scholarship is specifically designed for students with strong academic records who have excelled in all subjects, and are seeking enriched academic opportunities while continuing their education. SKECHERS Academic Excellence Scholars will have a strong history of academic success with a diverse set of interests and skills. A letter of recommendation by a high school principal or counselor is required. Financial need will be considered.
SKECHERS Athletic Performance Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to exemplary leaders and performers on their sports teams, in the classroom, and in their communities. The SKECHERS Athletic Performance Scholarship exists to help phenomenal student athletes pursue their dreams of continuing their education. Playing the sport in college is not required to receive this scholarship. A letter of recommendation by the applicant’s coach is required. Financial need will be considered.
SKECHERS Promising Leaders Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to a student who has taken on a leadership role within their school, community, club, or sports team. The SKECHERS Promising Leaders Scholarship will be awarded to the student who demonstrates phenomenal skills motivating others and a commitment to bettering the world. A letter of recommendation from a supervisor or mentor of an organization where the leadership position was held is required (i.e. principal, coach, or supervisor). Financial need will be considered.
A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Unofficial or online transcripts must display student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.
NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.
