The William B. Snyder Family and The GEICO Philanthropic Foundation have established an education assistance program to assist associates’ children with tuition expenses to attend a private high school.

This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Applicants to the The Snyder Family Education Assistance Program must be:

  • Dependent* children of any current full-time or part-time associate of GEICO** who meet these requirements:
    • Full-time associates must have worked for the companies for at least one continuous year by the application deadline date.

  • Current students in grades 8-11 who plan to enroll or who are already attending a full-time course of study at an accredited private secondary school for grades 9-12.

*Dependent children must be primarily supported by the associate. They may be natural or legally adopted children or stepchildren.

Awards

Annual Awards will be given equal to 50% of school costs or a maximum of $5,000 (whichever is less) per student per year.

Awards are for study at private high schools only.
