The William B. Snyder Family and The GEICO Philanthropic Foundation have established an education assistance program to assist associates’ children with tuition expenses to attend a private high school.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability, or national origin.
Applicants to the The Snyder Family Education Assistance Program must be:
Children of GEICO officers are not eligible for this scholarship.
*Dependent children must be unmarried and primarily supported by the associate. They may be natural or legally adopted children or stepchildren.

Awards
Annual awards of 50% of total tuition of up to $5,000 each will be granted for tuition costs not covered by other awards. Awards are renewable through grade 12 on the basis of satisfactory academic performance, continued enrollment at a private high school, and continuation of the program by the William B. Snyder Family and The GEICO Philanthropic Foundation.
Awards are for study at private high schools only.
Selection of Recipients
Recipients are selected on the basis of financial need.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or associate of GEICO play a part in the selection.
The maximum amount of awards distributed will be equal to 25% of the total number of eligible applicants.
Notification
All applicants will be notified by April. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes award payments on behalf of the William B. Snyder Family and The GEICO Philanthropic Foundation. Payment is made in one installment in early August.
