Standex Scholarship Program
Application status: Closed

The Standex International Corporation has established a scholarship program to assist children of employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Applicants to the Standex Scholarship Program must:

  • Be dependent* unmarried children, under age 26 of full‑time or part-time (at least 20 hours per week on average) Standex International Corporation employees.
    * Dependents are defined as biological, step- or legally adopted children living in the employees’ household or primarily supported by the employee.
  • Be high school seniors/students in their final year of upper or higher secondary school, high school graduates, or current college undergraduates. Students who participated in college courses in high school are eligible.
  • Plan to enroll in fulltime undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school (or equivalent) for the entire upcoming academic year.

Children of Direct reports to the CEO are ineligible.

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award ranging from $1,000 to $3,000. Up to 15 awards will be granted.

Award amount is determined by the country the applicant resides. If the applicant attends a school outside of the country they reside, the award amount will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Sponsor may choose to award more than 15 recipients if funds are available.
