TD Bank United States (U.S.) has established a scholarship program to assist children of eligible TD Bank and TD Securities Employees. This scholarship provides exceptional students with a one-time award to be used toward their educational expenses during their first year at an accredited college, university or vocational technical school. Awards are for one year only and are not renewable.
The program is administered by Scholarship America, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability or national origin.
Applicants to the Scholarship Program must meet all of the following criteria:
Children of seasonal, temporary, intern or contract employees are ineligible to apply.
Children of members of the TD Bank Management Committee are ineligible to apply
Undergraduate students already in college are ineligible to apply.
Grandchildren are ineligible to apply.
Applicants will be notified in May. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.
Payment of Scholarships:
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank. Payments are made in one installment in early August.

Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of TD Bank play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
