Teradata Corporation has established a scholarship program to assist underrepresented students pursuing a postsecondary degree in a STEM-related field.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, disability, or national origin.

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:
Financial need, as calculated by Scholarship America, must be demonstrated for the student to receive an award.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Teradata Corporation play a part in the selection. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $2,500 award. Up to six (6) awards will be granted.
Assuming there are qualified applicants, recipients will be selected from each of Teradata’s regions as follows:
Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Renewal is contingent upon satisfactory academic performance and continuation of the program by Teradata Corporation.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
All applicants will be notified in April.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Teradata Corporation. Payment is made in one installment in early August. Award payments will be issued in U.S. currency.
