RISE Credit has established a scholarship program to assist students who plan to continue education in college or vocational school programs. Scholarships are offered for part-time or full-time undergraduate study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice.
This scholarship program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability or national origin.
Applicants to the RISE Financial Progress Scholarship must meet all of the following criteria:
Award Amounts
The authorized distribution for new awards is $15,000. Up to five (5) awards of $3,000 each will be granted.
Awards are one-time only. Past recipients may not reapply.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Selection of Recipients
Recipients will be selected based on understanding of the financial video modules, an outside appraisal, and the following essay response:
“In around 750 words, tell us about the financial courses you have completed and describe how you will be able to utilize it in your personal life. Have you helped anyone else with what you learned in these valuable financial courses? Do you feel it will help you achieve your long-term financial goals?”
Financial need will not be considered.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of RISE Credit play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
