Titan America Solid Foundation Scholarship Program

Titan America has established a scholarship program to assist children of employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.

This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Required Documents

Applicants to the Titan America Solid Foundation Scholarship Program must be:

Be dependent* children, age 25 and under, of full-time Titan America employees who have a minimum of one year of employment as of the application deadline. *Dependent children are children who qualify for benefits provided by the company.
High school seniors or graduates, who plan to enroll, or students who are already enrolled, in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.
Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent).

Children of Vice Presidents and above are ineligible to apply.

Award Amounts

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $4,000 award. Up to six (6) awards will be granted.

Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Renewal is contingent upon satisfactory academic performance in a full-time course of study, continued employment of the student’s parent at Titan America, and continuation of the program by Titan America.

Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:

Academic record
Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
Work experience
A statement of educational and career goals and objectives
Unusual personal or family circumstances
An online recommendation

Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Titan America play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

Notification

Applicants will be notified in April. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.

Payment of Scholarships

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Titan America. Payments are made in one installment in early August.

Obligations

Recipients have no obligation to Titan America. They are, however, required to notify Scholarship America of any changes in address, school enrollment, or other relavent information, and to send a complete official transcript when requested.

Revisions

Titan America reserves the right to review the conditions and procedures of this scholarship program and to make changes at any time including termination of the program.

As part of your application, you must upload the following document(s):

Current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Unofficial or online transcripts must display:
- Student name
- School name
- Grades
- Credit hours for each course, and term in which each course was taken.
  
  NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload an official copy of those test scores separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.

Also as part of your application, one online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf by March 6, 2025 3:00 pm Central Time.
