Topco Associates, LLC (Topco) has established a scholarship program to honor the life of Ken Guy and the many contributions he made during his 41 years of service with Topco. The Ken Guy Memorial Scholarship Program will assist associates’ children who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs. Renewable scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants to the The Ken Guy Memorial Scholarship must:
Children of officers are ineligible to apply.
Students may reapply to the program each year as long they meet eligibility requirements.
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $2,500 award. One (1) award will be granted.
The award is renewable up to three years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first, on the basis of providing proof of continued enrollment in a qualified school as defined under eligibility requirements. Maximum lifetime award is $10,000 per recipient.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
All applicants will be notified in June. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply to the program each year as long they meet eligibility requirements
