Application status: Closed

The Trustmark Foundation (“Sponsor”) has established a scholarship program to assist children of employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the Sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

To be eligible for the program, an applicant must be:

  • Dependent* children of full-time employees of Trustmark Services Company and affiliates (“Companies”) who have a minimum of one-year employment as of the application deadline, or part-time employees of the Companies who have a minimum of two years employment as of the application deadline. Employees must be below the level of Vice President; children of second Vice Presidents are eligible to apply.
*A dependent child is defined as one who would qualify for membership in the Companies’ medical benefits plan.
  • High school seniors or graduates, or current undergraduate students, who are enrolled or planning to enroll in a full-time course of undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire academic year.

Awards

Up to fifteen awards of $2,500 each will be given.

Awards may be used for tuition, fees, books, supplies and equipment. Awards may not be used for room and board. Each recipient will be required to acknowledge the foregoing restrictions and other Program requirements relating to usage of scholarship funds by executing a Scholarship Acceptance Form.

Awards are renewable up to three years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first, and on the basis of satisfactory academic performance of a 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Notification

All applicants will be notified in May.

Payment of Scholarships
