IEC Scholarship Program

International Education Corporation (IEC) Scholarship Fund has established a scholarship program to assist students who plan to continue their education at the UEI Colleges located in Fresno and Bakersfield.

This scholarship program is administered by Scholarship America, a division of Scholarship America. Scholarship America is the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship and tuition reimbursement programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability or national origin.

Applicants to the IEC Scholarship Program must be:

  • Full-time students in good standing at one of the following International Education Corporation (IEC) colleges:
    • Fresno
    • Bakersfield


If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $500 award. Recipients will be selected on a first come, first serve basis, provided they meet program eligibility requirements.

Awards are one-time only. Past recipients may not reapply.

Selection of Recipients

Scholarship recipients are selected based on first come first serve.

Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of IEC or its affiliates play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

Payment of Scholarships

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of International Education Corporation (IEC). A wire is sent directly to the institution for the student’s account.

Application Information

Interested students must complete the application and mail it along with a current, complete transcript of grades to Scholarship America. All active students must include proof of enrollment or transcript. If a transcript is not yet available, please submit proof of enrollment. A proof of enrollment includes student name, school name, and credits enrolled in.

Grade reports are not acceptable. Transcripts and proof of enrollment must display student name, school name, grade (transcripts only) and credit hours earned for each course, and term in which each course was taken.

Applicants are responsible for gathering and submitting all necessary information. Answer all questions as completely as possible. Incomplete applications will not be evaluated. All information received is considered confidential and is reviewed only by Scholarship America.

Mail the completed application form (and any other required documents) to Scholarship America by the program’s application postmark deadline. The mailing address is on the application form.
