Matériaux d’application en français

UKG has established a scholarship program to assist global employees’ children who plan to continue their education in college. Scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university of the student’s choice.

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance, and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team. Awards for this scholarship are granted to eligible recipients without regard to creed, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.

Applicants to the UKG Global Dependents Scholarship Program must be:

  • Dependent* children, age 26 and under, of part-time or full-time UKG employees.
*Dependent children are defined as biological children, stepchildren, legally adopted children, or if their legal guardian is the employee.
  • High school seniors, high school graduates, current postsecondary under-graduates or graduate-level students. Students outside the United States must be in their final year of upper or higher secondary school or be current technical, college, or university level or graduate students.
  • Enrolled in full-time undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university for the entire 2021-2022 academic year.

Children of UKG officers (ex. Chief People Officer or Executive) are ineligible to apply.

Up to twenty (20) awards will be granted. Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.

Awards are for undergraduate and graduate study.

All applicants will be notified in mid-July.

Payment of Scholarships

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of UKG. Payment is made in mid-August. Funds will be sent by wire transfer to international recipients.

Selection of Recipients

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, and the following essay question:

Outline what kind of cultural traits and values you think a global organization – one with employees, resources, business partners and customers around the world – must build, sustain and continually improve in order to be successful and grow.
Describe the challenges such an organization and its employees may face, and ways in which employees can feel fulfilled and valued.

Financial need is not considered.

Provided there are qualified applicants, recipients from outside the United States will be selected in proportion to the number of qualified applicants.

Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America.  In no instance does any officer or employee of UKG play a part in the selection. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

As part of your application, you must upload the following:

  • A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.

Your application is not complete unless all required materials are submitted electronically.
