Unitus Community Credit Union is pleased to offer a scholarship program to assist members (primary or joint) of Unitus whose account is in good standing with the cost of higher education.
Additionally, student applicants who are a dependent biological, step, or adoptive child; or a biological, step, or adoptive grandchild of a current Unitus Community Credit Union employee who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs are invited to apply.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals.
Applicants to the Unitus Community Credit Union Scholarship Program must be:

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $3,000 award. Up to nine (9) awards of $3,000 each will be granted as follows:
Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
If there aren’t enough qualified applications received for any of the award groups above, the award(s) will be allocated to one of the other groups.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Recipients must continue to meet the program eligibility requirements up until the time awards are disbursed in July.
Applicants will be notified in May. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.
Scholarship America processes scholarship awards on behalf of Unitus Community Credit Union. Disbursements are made in July.
Financial need is not considered.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Unitus Community Credit Union play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.
