Vontier Business Services LLC has established a scholarship program to assist children of employees who plan to continue their education in college, vocational school, or CEGEP programs.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance, and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of Vontier Business Services LLC, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team. Awards for this scholarship are granted to eligible recipients without regard to creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, disability, or national origin.
Applicants to the Vontier Scholarship Program must be:
*Dependent children are defined as natural and legally adopted children or stepchildren living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee.
**Eligible OpCos include: Gilbarco Veeder-Root, Global Traffic Technologies, Hennessy Industries, Matco Tools, Teletrac Navman, DRB, and Vontier Corporate.
Children of leadership team employees (at both OpCos and corporate) are ineligible.
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $3,000 award. Up to 12 awards will be granted.
Award payments will be issued in U.S. dollars (USD). Recipients in the U.S. and Canada will receive awards in USD. Awards to students outside of the U.S. and Canada will be disbursed via wire transfer to the student’s bank account. Recipients outside of the U.S. and Canada may select to receive payment in their local currency, if available.
Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
All applicants will be notified in mid-June.
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic performance, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, a statement of educational and career goals and objectives, and unusual personal or family circumstances. In addition, financial need, as calculated by Scholarship America, must be demonstrated for the student to receive an award.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Vontier Business Services LLC play a part in the selection. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Vontier Business Services LLC. Payment is made in one installment in August.
