The Gertrude F. Weinert Memorial Scholarship has been set up to assist high school seniors at Baldwin-Whitehall High School in Pennsylvania who plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, or disability.
Children of the Gertrude F. Weinert family and PNC Bank N.A. employees are ineligible.
*This award is meant to be supplemental to other awards and grants; it will only cover the costs of unmet expenses up to the full amount needed for tuition, books, and qualified fees.
Applicants will be notified in May. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of PNC Bank, as trustee of the Gertrude F. Weinert Memorial Scholarship in August.
Financial need will be considered in determining the amount of each award.
One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than March 1, 2023 4:00 pm Eastern Time.
