The Gertrude F. Weinert Memorial Scholarship has been set up to assist high school seniors at Baldwin-Whitehall High School in Pennsylvania who plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, or disability.
Children of the Gertrude F. Weinert family and PNC Bank N.A. employees are ineligible.
*This award is meant to be supplemental to other awards and grants; it will only cover the costs of unmet expenses up to the full amount needed for tuition, books, and qualified fees.
Applicants will be notified in April. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of the PNC Trustee of the Gertrude F. Weinert Memorial Scholarship in August.
Financial need will be considered in determining the amount of each award.
Selection of 10 semi-finalists is made by Scholarship America. A selection committee will select 5 finalists and Scholarship America will select one recipient.
