PNC Bank, N.A. Trustee of the PNC Bank Delaware (DE) Scholarships offers the Wilbur E. Postles Award for four-year Delaware residents planning to attend an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants to the Wilbur E. Postles Award must be:
PNC employees or Trust committee members, their immediate family members, and members of their households are not eligible to apply.
The authorized distribution for new and renewal awards is determined by PNC Bank, N.A. Trustee of the PNC Bank Delaware (DE) Scholarships.
Awards are renewable for up to seven years in the complete discretion of the Selection Committee on the basis of satisfactory academic performance (3.0 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent).
Awards may be renewed for undergraduate, graduate and doctoral study.
All applicants will be notified in late May.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of PNC Bank, N.A. Trustee of the PNC Bank Delaware (DE) Scholarships. Payments are made in late July.

Financial need will be considered. Financial need, as calculated by Scholarship America, must be demonstrated for the student to receive an award.
Scholarship America will process the applications for eligibility. Scholarships shall be awarded without regard to race, creed, religion, sex, national origin or similar classifications. Scholarship awards are to be made solely by a Selection Committee which shall have sole and exclusive authority to determine the number of recipients and the amounts of each award consistent with the criteria established by the Trust. The decision of the Selection Committee shall be final and not reviewable by any court, person, firm or entity
