  • Unusual personal or family circumstances
  • An online recommendation.

Financial need, as calculated by Scholarship America, must be demonstrated for the student to receive an award.

Scholarship America will provide all eligible applicants for each high school and Sponsor Trust committee will select recipients. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

Award amounts are determined by the Sponsor’s committee after an examination of all criteria

Assuming there are qualified applicants, preference will be given to students who intend to pursue
undergraduate study in Indiana at the time of recipient selection. Intended award allocation will be given equally to recipients from Huntington North and Wayne High School assuming there are enough eligible applicants from each school.

Awards may be renewable up to five years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first, on the basis of satisfactory academic performance maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, continued study in an eligible major, and Sponsor’s committee approval.

The amount of aid granted to a student for a school year shall not exceed the amount of annual tuition plus one-half of the estimated cost of room, board, books and miscellaneous required fees.

Awards are for undergraduate study only.

All applicants will be notified in May.
