Winnebago Industries and the Winnebago Industries Foundation have established a scholarship program to assist dependents of employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance, and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants to the Winnebago Industries Scholarship must:
Dependents of the ELT /KLT team are ineligible to apply.
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $3,500 award. Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Awards are for undergraduate study only. Awards can be used for qualified expenses only (tuition, fees, books, and required supplies).
Assuming there are qualified applicants awards will be granted to recipients from all Winnebago Industries businesses and geographies, including Winnebago, Grand Design RV, Chris-Craft, Newmar and Barletta with locations in, but not limited to, Minnesota, Iowa, Indiana and Florida.
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of educational and career goals and objectives, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an online recommendation.
Financial need will be considered. Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Winnebago Industries Foundation play a part in the selection. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
All applicants will be notified by the end of April.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Winnebago Industries Foundation. Payment is made in August.
