JAN-PRO® Cleaning & Disinfecting and JAN-PRO® Commercial Cleaning have established a scholarship program to assist JAN-PRO® Cleaning & Disinfecting or JAN-PRO® Commercial Cleaning unit franchise owners, their spouses, children or grandchildren who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs. Scholarships are offered each year for full or part-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria
Note: Employees of unit franchisees are not eligible. Regional developers, their spouses, children and regional development employees are ineligible to participate in this scholarship program.
*An eligible JAN-PRO® Cleaning & Disinfecting or JAN-PRO® Commercial Cleaning unit franchise owner is defined as a Certified Business Owner in good standing for at least one year as of the application deadline date.
Awards are for undergraduate and graduate study.
Notification
Applicants will be notified in November 2024.
Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of JAN-PRO® Cleaning & Disinfecting and JAN-PRO® Commercial Cleaning. Payments are made in one installment in early 2025. A check is made payable to the student’s school and mailed to each recipient’s home address
Selection of recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:

Special consideration will be given to applicants who are identified as first-generation students.

NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.
