JAN-PRO has established a scholarship program to assist JAN-PRO unit franchise owners, their spouses, children or grandchildren who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs. Scholarships are offered each year for full or part-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice.
The program is administered by Scholarship America. Scholarship America is the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship and tuition reimbursement programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, or disability.
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria
Note: Employees of unit franchises are not eligible. Master franchise owners, their spouses, children and employees are ineligible to participate in this scholarship program.
*An eligible JAN-PRO unit franchise owner is defined as a unit franchise owner in good standing for at least one year as of the application deadline date.

Financial need will be considered.
Special consideration will be given to applicants who are identified as first generation students.
Award Amounts
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award of $1,000, $2,500 or $5,000.
Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Awards are for undergraduate and graduate study.
Selection of recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of self-declared academic information, leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, and family financial information.
Notification
Applicants will be notified in November.
Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of JAN-PRO. Payments are made in one installment in early 2021. A check is made payable to the student’s school and mailed to each recipient’s home address
